“Dan was literally like a father to me. I first met him as a karate student of his in 1976 and remained a student until his death. While he was always the teacher, he was also a more than just, "a friend". He was family. Dan's varied accomplishments including teaching college level biology, being a police officer and finally retiring from being a police investigator from Cartersville GA. His service is Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Jacksonville National Cemetery.”
