With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarence Allen Jr. (Jacksonville, Florida), who passed away on December 16, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Sr. Allen and Catherine Allen; his wife Mattie Allen; his son Clarence Bernard; his grandson Antoine Daniels; his sisters, Helen Williams and Gloria Williams; and his siblings-in-law, Charlie Byrd, Joseph Williams, Robert Williams, Willie Lee Catoe, Pernell Catoe, Henry Catoe, Jr., Elizabeth Catoe Rose and Jessie Mae Drakeford.

He is survived by: his children, Cassandra Allen-Daniels (Vincent) and Rodger Allen (Nadine); his grandchildren, Mikael, Quentin, Dayne, Nathan, Anika and Charisse; his great grandchildren, Jhakael, Kelsey, Kaynan, Harper Nicole, Amari, Anaya and Mason; his sister Gracie Byrd; and his daughter-in-law Patricia Allen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
