She was predeceased by: her grandfather Edward Newsome Jr.; her uncles, Walter Newsome and Kali Phelps; and her sister Ebone Newsome. She is survived by: her parents, Sharon Jackson and Edward Newsome, III (Carla); her husband Corey D. Cooper; her daughter Morgan Pettway; her siblings, Crystal Bryson (Robert), Danielle Newsome and Matthew Newsome; her grandmothers, Elma Newsome and Bonnie Nolley; her aunt Robin Nolley; and her nieces and nephews, Emeri Pope, Celeste Bryson, Robert Bryson, IV and Julian Bryson. She is also survived by other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
