He is survived by: his wife Dorothy McGriff Waiters; his children, Charlie Waiters, III, Curtis, Christina and Caratina; his stepdaughter Katrina Taylor; his nephew Eddie G. Geddis; his niece Melanie D. Geddis; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn M. Barlow, Mary Smith, Delores Mainor Woods, Mary Alice Moses and John Hall (Jill). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jr. Memorial Chapel (4315 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32206). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
