It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cecilia Arias Vernimo (Jacksonville, Florida), who passed away on January 25, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Cora "Sony" Cenizal. She is survived by: her father Rogelio Cenizal Sr.; her brothers, Rogelio Cenizal (Sheila), Rodello Cenizal (Tammy) and Ronaldo Cenizal (Melissa); her husband Arlen Vernimo; her children, Asia Kovacs (Christopher), Max Vernimo and Alyssa Gant (Austin); and her grandsons, Cameron and Mason Kovacs. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

As such, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Jacksonville Humane Society.
