We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Carolyn Sue Linkfield of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Huntington, West Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Genevieve Gentry of Hamlin, WV and James C. Stapleton of Huntington, WV; her husband Orville Fredrick "Pete" Linkfield III of Barboursville, WV; and her pets, Cuddles, Baby and Max.

She is survived by: her children, Lora Beth Morrison (Eric Alan), Lisa Michelle Williams (Eric Fitzgerald) and Loren Patrick Linkfield; and her grandchildren, Katie Ann Morrison Jarvis (James Aaron), Alexis Grace Williams, Tyler James Morrison, Callie Jeneal Morrison, Eric Fitzgerald Williams II, Casey Michael Linkfield and Chloe Merica Linkfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Jacksonville Humane Society in memory of Cuddles, Baby, and Max Linkfield.
