She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hildagard Schlesser and Henry James Schlesser; her siblings, Darlene, Robert Schlesser and Dolores Arens of Le Mars; her husband Eugene Obrien; her children, William A. Thomas and Patricia C.; and her grandchildren, William, Francis, Mary, Jean and Lisa. She was also cherished by 10 great grandchildren, and 15 nephews and 3 nieces.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to St. Joseph's Church Divine Mercy House.
