For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia S. Payne; and his children, LaFawn Leigh Payne Wachs, Chantal Rene Payne Price (Chris), Troy Lynn Payne (Lori) and Bryan Lee Payne (April). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home (4140 University Blvd S, Jacksonville, FL 32216). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
