He is survived by: his wife Betty Seabrook Burney; his sons, Dr. Calvin Leon Burney, Jr. (Tashlai) and Craig Burney; his grandson Calvin Leon Burney, III; his brothers, Owen Burney (Rosa) of Greenville, NC and Terrance Burney (Laura) of Apex, NC; his aunt Frances Williams of Newark, NJ; his uncle Oresley Williams (Rosa) of Jones County, NC; his siblings-in-law, Harriet Jarrett, Evangelist Earline Floyd, Dorothy Johnson, Helen Deas, Priscilla Jenkins (Glenn), Oliver Seabrook, Jr. (Anita) and Larry Seabrook (Maria); and his cousin Orlando Marshburn (Sabrina). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
