It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bruce Carlie Durham of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Florence Margie Durham; his parents, Albert Durham and Fannie Mae Durham; his brothers, Albert, Jr. and Melvin; his children, Michael Durham and Sandra Merritt; his grandson Justin Durham; his great grandchild Chance Goodman; and his daughter-in-law Nancy Durham.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Durham, Jr., Ron Durham, Ken Durham (Rebecca), Lisa Montanez and Barbara Rigdon; his siblings, Larry Durham and Linda Eaker; and his pets, Limon and Layla. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jacksonville Memory Gardens (111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, consider potted plants to plant in honor of their beloved Dad and Grandfather.
