It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bette JoAnn Putala of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Montague, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 31, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Janice Burnham, Neil and Bud Tompkins. She is survived by: her husband Michael Paul Putala; her sons, Mike (Rachel), Jeff (Dianne) and Mark (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Brittany Putala, Ashlee Franklin (Justin), Brooke Fewox (Kalup), Stacie Wetzel (Matt), Clay Putala (Christy), Michaela Putala, Mackenzie Kennington (Kyle), Michael Putala, Connor Jennings and Meghan Jennings; and her great grandchildren, Beckham, Brooklyn Blinkhorn, Harper, Hayden Franklin, Madelyn and Parker Wetzel. She is also survived by her three sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
