It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Leona Nester of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Middleburg, Florida, who passed away on September 13, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Preston Padgett; her husband Dewey Nester; and her siblings, Charlie Padgett and Evelyn Padgett. She is survived by: her children, Audrey Taliaferro and Matt Nester (Michelle); her brother JC Padgett; her grandchildren, Kimberly Barrs (Conrad), Duane Taliaferro (Ashley), Justin Nester (Brittney) and Megan Thigpen (BW); her great grandchildren, Cierra Barrs, Jordan Barrs, Caden Barrs, Hayslee Nester, Lauren Taliaferro and Kallie Taliaferro; and her great great grandchild Bentley Crawford. She is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
