She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert White and Aldine White; her sister Annice Legons; and her nephew Marvin Franklin. She is survived by: her children, Jamel and Latanya Abney; her husband James Abney; and her siblings, Lorraine Franklin, Delores Ward, Stella Shamburger (Lawrence), Emma Dean White, Diane White and Hubert White, Jr.. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
