He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Amell and Eileen Kyne Amell; his siblings, John Patrick Amell, Julie Governale and Robert Amell; and his grandson Kevin Amell.
He is survived by: his sister Cynthia Pendell; and his children, John Amell (Czarina), Brian Amell (Mary), Christopher Amell and Kathleen Amell Travis. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
