He is survived by: his wife Loretta; his children, Charyl Sumner Smith (Mitchall), Stuart Sumner (Catherine) and Carl Sumner; his grandchildren, Kayla Strickland, Khloe Strickland, Kaitlyn Strickland, Shawn Sumner, Olivia Sumner, Kyndall Smith, Shayne Cuong, Sharena Arriola Anson, Emily-Grace, Alora-Faith and Addilyn Sue; and his close friends, Eloise Williams and Frank Tiller.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Naugle Funeral Home (1203 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32207). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
