It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arnett Greene (Jacksonville, Florida), born in Apalachicola, Florida, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnett Roger Greene and Maude Thomas Greene; and his brother Monty O'Hara Greene. He is survived by: his wife Claudette; his former wife Alma Greene; his children, Arnika Greene Dawkins (Michele) of Alton Greene, MD, Theresa Kurjah (Bunny) and Helene Chhadi (Learie); his grandchildren, Brandon Dawkins, MD (Ashley), Morgan Dawkins Stewart (Bobby), Paige Dawkins, Nicholas Greene, Devin Greene, Graham Kurjah, Jolene Kurjah, Alexis Job and Alanis Job; and his siblings, Francis Greene, MD (Marie), Faye Daniels (Booker), Maria Stephenson Greene, Carmena Bostic (Donald) and Dayle Greene (Patsy). He is also survived by children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren.
The family suggests donations can be made in his honor to the Florida A&M University Foundation Scholarship program, his beloved alma mater.
