She is survived by: her daughter Lakenna Watts of Jacksonville, FL; her stepson Michael Holloway (Nicole) of Huntsville, AL; her mother Katie Bass of Loachapoka, AL; her siblings, Ella Pitts of Loachapoka, AL, Anteneria Pearson of Loachapoka, AL, Deborah Harris (Archie) of Gainesville, FL, Ambrosia Cooke of Syracuse, NY, Mary Ann Davis of Decatur, GA, Jeffery Bass (Georgia) of Auburn, AL and Willis Bass (Cynthia) of Auburn, AL; her grandchildren, Shawndria Calloway of Loachapoka, AL, Leshawn Calloway of Loachapoka, AL, Derrion Calloway of Loachapoka, AL, Katelyn Calloway of Opelika, AL and Shawn Calloway, Jr. of Opelika, AL; her uncle L. E. Pitts of Birmingham, AL; her siblings-in-law, Joe Watts (Mary Lois) of Waverly, AL, Rosie Johnson of Loachapoka, AL and Lizzy Pearl Love (Joe) of Waverly, AL; her close friends, Christine Willis of Loachapoka, AL and Joe Lewis Smith of Jacksonville, FL; and also Kelvin Matthews of Columbus, GA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The lying in state was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (2 Day Lily Street, Loachapoka, AL 36865). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
