She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Ellison and Mary Harris Ellison; her husband James Johns; her children, Sylvia Johns, Jimmy Johns, Randy Johns and Don Johns; and her siblings, Bartley Ellison, Rhoda Dearman, Ruth Sellers, Stanley Ellison, Cora Taylor, Leola Rhoden, James Ellison, Leonard Ellison and Arthur Ellison.
She is survived by: her sons, William "Bill" Johns (Doreen) of Glen St, Michael Johns (Pam) of Jacksonville, Terry Johns of Jacksonville and Kenneth Johns (Karen) of Jacksonville; and her sister Gladys Hart of Macclenny. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
