Anna Jean Whitehead Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anna Jean Whitehead of Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Tyink and Reka Tyink; her husband Charles Edwin "Bud" Whitehead; and her siblings, Alvin, Russell, Delbert, James Tyink, Sally DeHaan, Donna Bos, Katherine Bruursema and Esther Ebels.
She is survived by: her children, Michele Williamson (David) and Janna Keene (Don); her grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew (Madison), Courtney Williamson, Danielle Cleland (Nathan), Kyle Assaf and Kevin Assaf (Morgan); her sister Carla Vander Bie (Bill); and her in-laws, Marlene Tyink, Charlotte Durrance (Frank) and Faye Whitehead. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Trinity Baptist Church (800 Hammond Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the Gethsemane Memorial Garden (800 Hammond Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221).
