He was predeceased by: his mother Nola Jean Johnson; his stepparents, Walter Johnson, Jr. and Rita Martin; and his brother Andre Martin. He is survived by: his father Alvin L. Martin, Sr.; his wife Tonya L. Martin; his children, Tina Bacon (Leonard), Jason Hires, Darryl Laster (Alnisa), Aldrena Martin, Chelaina Jarrell (Malachi) and Angel Martin (Daniel); his parents-in-law, Ruth Sheppard and Felton Moses (Hazel); his siblings, Helen Meadows (Robert), Gerald Reed (Lisa), Leisa Oliver (Travis), Felicia Brinson (Gerald), Reggie Mann, Alshawn Martin, Antwan Martin (Tere), Artecia Johnson, Antoinette Martin and Lacheryl Moore (Garrick); and his siblings-in-law, Andrea Morgan and David Whigham. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, 1 great granddaughter on the way and a host of godchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
