She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel Poyner and Clara Wright; her husband Ramon Edward Paulsen; and her siblings, Fannie Browning, Mary McDonald, Naydelle Taylor and Clayvol Poyner.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon Kandra (Matt) of Cincinnati, OH, Sandra Burden (Paul) of Jacksonville, FL and Mike Paulsen (Jenny) of Madisonville, KY; her sister Helen Vincent of Powderly, KY; her grandchildren, Cindy Paulsen, Steven Paulsen and Elicia Cooper-LeTendre; and her great grandchildren, Grayson and Brielle.
