He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Cypress and Beulah Cypress; his siblings, Marcia Cypress of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Harold Cypress (Helen) of Boynton Beach, Fla.; his niece Alicia Cypress of Bethesda; and his nephew David Lando.

Alan requested that donations are made to The Mayo Clinic, at Mayoclinic.org/giving-to-Mayo-Clinic.
