Ada Violet left this world on October 30, 2024 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Monroe Miller and Myrtle Lucille Miller (Hostetler); her husband Norman L. "Bud" Anderson; her children, Norman Anderson, Jr. and Karen A Schoff; her siblings, Philip Ray Miller, Keith Herman Miller, Wayne Albert Miller, Doris LaVonn Miller and Mable Elaine Hyde; and her grandsons, Matthew Schoff and Timothy Brown.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Lantz of Sebring, FL, Diana Ronhovde (Ron) of Jacksonville, FL and Debra Rumbaugh (Ken) of Middleburg Hts, OH; and her grandchildren, John Schoff, Robert Alsip, Jr., Krystal Clevenger, Andrea Ronhovde, Heather Mey, Jacquelyn Gracie, Jonathan Rumbaugh, Melissa Hall, Aaron Rumbaugh and Maurine Richerson. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren, a and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Haverstock Funeral Home (602 Maple Ave, La Porte, IN 46350). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sauktown Cemetery (La Porte, IN 46350).
