With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Shepherd (Jacksonville Beach, Florida), who passed away on April 27, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Naka Krneta and Simo Milan Krneta; and her sisters, Kaye Krneta and Louise Krneta Zatezalo. She is survived by: her husband Burton H. Shepherd; her sons, Burton H. Shepherd, Jr. (Betty) and Michael W. Shepherd (Stacy); her grandchildren, Burton H. Shepherd III, Elizabeth Shepherd Christensen (Chris), Mary H. Shepherd, Katherine Shepherd Connally (Chris), Emily Shepherd Gooding (Grant), Jay R. Shepherd and Katie K. Shepherd; her great grandchildren, Dane T. Christensen, Emma O. Christensen, Mary Catherine Gooding and Molly C. Gooding; and her nieces, Diane Z. Scott (Tom) and Linda Z. Peterson (Craig).
