It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Frost (Jacksonville Beach, Florida), who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Albert and Mattie Lewis Frost (Dickerson); his siblings, Janetta Rowe (Frost) and Paul Frost; and his grandson John Frost, III (Willie).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Frost (Simerson); his children, Mary Lynn (Frost), Minneman (Michael), John Frost, Jr. (Marilyn Ward) and Alissa (Frost); his grandchildren, Tara Walton (Aaron), Andrew Hester (Anna), James Minneman, Jared Frost, David Breitenstein (Cheryl), Jason Breitenstein, Jacob Breitenstein, Ryan Breitenstein and Austin Breitenstein (AJ); his great grandchildren, Knox Walton, Sloane Walton, Sophie Hester, Kayla Washburn, Brielynn Breitenstein, Jada Breitenstein and Estelle Breitenstein; and his sister Fanny McFarland (Frost).
A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Palms Presbyterian Church (3410 3rd St S, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250).
