He was predeceased by: his parents, Halcyon G. Skinner and Eleanor Fuller. He is survived by: his wife Ana Skinner (Garcia); his children, Halcyon Gerald Skinner of Easton, PA and Katharine Roth (Zachary) of Neptune Beach, FL; his brother Chris Skinner (Pat) of Newton, MA; and his grandchildren, Halcyon Skinner, Samuel Skinner and Maria Roth.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (3600 3rd St S, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250).
He led by example in supporting the community, serving on the Board of Directors of Barnett Bank, regularly volunteering at the Sulzbacher Center, cooking at Beaches Community Kitchen on Mondays, and donating blood often, among other activities.
