It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gloria Schuman Register (Jacksonville Beach, Florida), who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Les Register Sr.; her grandson Christopher Carl Stiles; her brother Thomas Joseph Schuman Jr.; and her parents, Thomas Joseph Sr. and Helen Whalen Schuman.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Stiles (Tim), Jeanine Hargis and Les Register Jr. (Cathe); her grandchildren, Derek (Lauren), Rusty (Jessica) and Shanna (Joe); her great grandchildren, Dylan, Cillian, Alex, Emily and Finley; and her sisters, Helen Grabon and Janet Schuman. She is also survived by loving cousins and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul's By the Sea Episcopal Church.

Even though your time of meeting was short she truly enjoyed your company at the table and conversation. She told me she felt as if she had known you forever. Ironically you actually lived about a mile apart for many years and yet didn't know it. She was so sad when I shared the news of your passing.
