She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Michael Slattery; her father Joseph Slaby; and her daughters, Lauren and Allison. She was also cherished by her husband and daughters she is survived by many family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the Slattery family requests donations to support adrenal cancer research through the "Geraldine and Michael Slattery Adrenal Cancer Research Fund (340970)" at the University of Michigan.
