“Dear family of gene, my name is kathy. I lived in starksboro, vermont for many years with my three young daughters. Gene was my next-door neighbor, and could never asked for a nicer neighbor. My daughters and i cared deeply for this wonderful human being, and he truly cared about my daughters and myself. We moved many years ago, but have never forgotten this man. So sorry and shocked to read about his passing. Rip gene, you were a great and honorable man. With fond memories, we will remember”
