He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edwin McKay and Eleanor Anderson McKay; and his sister Colette. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Kory, Andren, Axel and Ava Jane McKay; his grandsons, Edon and Azrael; and his siblings, Betsy Diedrick (Mike), Sandra Mendez and Kurt. He is also survived by aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews, along with his many cousins.
In lieu of gifts or flowers, Eric requested memorial contributions be made to the Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation for Children or Zarephath Academy of Jacksonville.
