He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anna Gilmer and Thomas Gilmer; his wife Joan Vanik; his sons, Michael (Yvonne), Bill, David (Crystal) and Patrick; his grandchildren, Desmond, Zackary, Mollie, Andrew, Gabriel, Ryan and Sophia; and his great grandchildren, Declan, Caden, Vanessa, Rinnie, Bandit, Brandy, Tina, Bailey, Pine, Dixie and Tipsy.
