She was predeceased by: her husband William F. Barrett; her parents, Charles Smedile and Edith Smedile; and her siblings, Gloria, Adelaide, Barbara and Franklin.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Harry Comiskey; her children, Patricia Battito of Port Reading, Judith Policelli (Mark), William Barrett (Joanne) of Delaware and Lisa Fowler of Avenel, NJ; her grandchildren, Sean Battito, Heather Canfield, Anthony Battito, Christopher Policelli, Adrienne Policelli, Kendel Barrett, Lorin Obler and Gavin Barrett; and her brothers, Patrick Smedile and Robert Smedile.
Due to COVID-19 a memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate Ruth's life.
