She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Armstrong and Ruth Armstrong; her husband James Atherton; and her sister Jennette Young. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Green of Inverness, FL, Kathy Hollifield of Plant City, FL, James Atherton Jr. of Homosassa, FL, Thomas Atherton of Americus, GA and Kenneth Atherton of Tarpon Springs, FL. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
