He is survived by: his wife Linda; his stepchildren, Sandra Polk of Inverness and Charlie Wells Junior of Elizabethton, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Kyle Wells of Elizabethton, Steven, Joshua Polk of Inverness and Brianna Smith of Inverness; and his sisters, Janice Skynyrd, Gloria Poirier and Lorraine McGrath. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
