She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Pollard and Laretta Pollard; her husband Van R. Porter II; her brothers, Millard Pollard, Lee Pollard and Elene Pollard; her stepdaughter Vanette Porter; her children, Pamela K. Porter Holcomb Hancock and Theodore Anson Porter; her nephew Thomas Pollard; and her great grandchild Ruth Joy Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughter Pam; her sister Paula Hum (Doug); her son Van R. Porter III (Angie); her grandchildren, Lonn Holcomb (Sherri), Troy Holcomb (Tammi), Erica Scharer (Christian), Stephanie Browning, Ted Porter (Maria), Paul Porter (Keri), Van Porter IV, Nathan Porter, Grace Wilson (Levi) and Justin Porter; and her nieces and nephews, Kirk Hum (Bonnie), Ken Hum (Kymi), Linda Pollard Tyson, Dawn Mitchell (Jeff) and Beth Scott (Mike). She is also survived by her 38 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, many other nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Margie's name to the American Heart Association.
