He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kratky and Mary Kratky; his daughter Suzanne Kratky Carris; and his sisters, Janice Kratky and Marie Kratky Kenealy.
He is survived by: his wife Maryann Meyernick Kratky of Inverness, FL; his children, John S. Kratky, III (Jessica) of Portland, OR and Rachel Kratky of Lake Oswego, OR; his granddaughter Cynthia Carris of Monroe, CT; his brothers, Dennis Kratky of Stratford, CT and Donald Kratky of Stratford, CT; and his brother-in-law Frank Meyernick of Stratford, CT. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial masses at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in the memory of John.
