James Jay Shanko Jr. Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Jay Shanko Jr. of Inverness, Florida, who passed away on August 28, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sisters, Eunice Shanko Carter and Elsie Shanko Wash. He is survived by: his wife Christine Shanko; his children, James J. Shanko, III, John M. Shanko (Patti), Jana M. Carlton (Steve) and Judy A. Willis (David); and his granddaughter Lindsay Carlton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Floral tributes are welcomed or memorial contributions may be made to Shenandoah Valley Academy Worthy Student Endowment Fund, 234 W.Lee.
