She was predeceased by: her parents, George Vas and Elizabeth Vas; her former husband Anthony Downey; her sons, Anthony and Patrick; and her siblings, Anne, Elizabeth, George, Charles and Mary Jane.

She is survived by: her daughter Nora (David); her grandchildren, Amanda (Andrew), Evelyn and Ansel; her great grandchild Anne; her son David; her grandson David (Itsaree); her daughter Wynn (Armando); her granddaughters, Florence, Antonette and Margaret; her daughter Elizabeth; her grandchild Taresa (Brandon); her great grandchild Thayne; her son George; her granddaughter Heather; her great grandchildren, Lilith, David II and Elizabeth; and her daughter Ava. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
