He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wiegand and Agnes O'Connor Wiegand; his granddaughter Nell McDonnell; and his siblings, Eugene, Charles, Lee, Elizabeth Regan, Maureen George and Maxine Drost.
He is survived by: his former wife June Kienitz; his wife Mary Muldoon (Mollie); his children, Rebecca Povlock (Drew), Timothy (Teresa), Elizabeth Traub (John), Terrance (Michelle), Mary Flagstad (Daniel), Patrick, Jennifer McDonnell (Barry), Christopher (Abby), Melissa Hahn (Chris), Jeremy, Steven, Kevin (Jennifer) and Jessica Murray (Brian); and his siblings, Edward, Helen Mossberger and Marge Jensik. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Marquette High School Foundation, 306 West 10th St., Michigan City, Indiana, or to the American Cancer Society.
