He was predeceased by: his parents, Toby Kirts and Mary E. Kirts (Allender). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis J. Kirts (Brand); his children, Donald Kirts (Chrissy) of Brown County and Elizabeth Miller (W. C.) of Brown County; his siblings, Nancy Williams of Inverness, FL, Marcus Kirts (Nancy) of Brown County and Robert Kirts (Mary) of St. Mary's, ID; his grandchildren, Cindy Lynn Horton, Alexandria Kirts, Toby Lee Kirts, Nicole Marie Ellis, Cory David Lucas and George E. Miller; and his great grandchildren, Annabelle Kirts and Devon Horton.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made in honor of Don to the Church of the Nazarene "Food Drive" 2101 N. Florida Ave. Hernando, FL 34442.
