He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl McMullen and Lillian McMullen; his nephew Todd McMullen; his brother Alan McMullen; and also Joyce McMullen.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Merritt; his son-in-law Wesley Merritt; and his sister Sue McNeal. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
