He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred DeYoung and Tina DeYoung; and his siblings, Sam, Bernard, George, Edward, William, Theresa and Bernice.
He is survived by: his wife Angeline DeYoung of Pomona Park; his children, Steven DeYoung of Bow, NH, Daniel DeYoung of Cedar Lake, IN and Leah DeYoung of Satsuma; his brother Albert DeYoung of Crown Point, IN; and his grandsons, Andrew of Bow, NH, Joshua DeYoung of Bow, NH, Bryan of Cedar Lake, IN and Colin DeYoung of Cedar Lake, IN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
