He is survived by: his wife Verlean Shepherd; his children, Danny "Bubba" Shepherd (Barbara) and Angie Hammond (Randy Joe); his siblings, Olin Shepherd, Melvin Shepherd, Linda Bennett and Faye Schneider; and his granddaughter Samantha Shepherd.
