She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Sheffield and Irene Nichols Sheffield; her husband Samuel Thomas, Jr.; her son Donnie Mack Thomas; her siblings, Barbara Ann Bisbee and James Harry Sheffield; and her great grandchild Logan Kyle Gaylord.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda; her son-in-law Walter Gaylord of Interlachen; her sons, Raymond Thomas of Palatka and Gerald (Alison Thomas); her daughter-in-law Gail Thomas of Quitman, GA; her sisters, Annell (Bill Gillow) and Gale Dunn of Jacksonville; and her grandchildren, Kevin Gaylord (Christine), Kyle Gaylord (Wendy), Keith Gaylord (Nickole), Joshua Thomas (Sonya), Jacob Thomas, Ramona Hamm (Dalton), Luke Thomas, A. J. Thomas and Constance Haines (Colin). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
