She was predeceased by: her husband Larry E. Tonger; her son Dale E. Allen; her granddaughter Liza Marie Barclay; her parents, Edward Dixon and Patricia Dixon; her brothers, Dale A. Dixon and Mark T. Dixon; and her son-in-law Paul Pierce.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald "Jerry" Allen (Shirley) of Tallahassee, Thomas "Tommy" H. Allen (Margie) of Jacksonville, Patricia "Patti" Hersch (Warren) of Land, Suzie Pierce of Jacksonville and Sandra "Sandy" Owen (Richard) of Port St; and her brothers, Gary Dixon (Kathleen) of Michigan and Michael Dixon (Patricia) of St. Augustine. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
