He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Skirvin and Emma Eves Skirvin; his wife Constance "Connie" Skirvin; his daughter Leonda Carol Smith; his stepson LeRoy Howard; and his siblings, Orville Brown Skirvin, Curtis Calvin Skirvin and Lilly Katherine Skirvin.
He is survived by: his son Chris Skirvin (Christina) of Austin, TX; and his stepdaughter Becky Howard Gemmer of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
