He is survived by: his parents, Daniel Carl and Ethel Stimson Coon; his wives, Joyce M. Blackwell and Joyce Coon; his children, June Vaughan (Eric), Dan Coon (Kathy) and Don Coon (May); his grandchildren, Charlotte Coon of Florida, Riego Coon and Carl Coon of California; and his sister Jean. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In his last years he was afflicted with Alzheimer's.
