He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond T. Garvin and Virgina Sturgill; and his brother-in-law Matt Kamm. He is survived by: his wife Christine Garvin; his children, Dr. Tiffany Szymarek (Greg) and Scott Garvin (Mary); his grandchildren, Maddy Szymarek, Will Szymarek and Reagan Garvin; his brother Ralph Garvin; and his siblings-in-law, Mark Kamm, Lauren Davis and Debbie Kamm.
