It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elaine Nielsen of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida, who passed away on August 10, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Lars Nielsen; her parents, Mary Antoinette Gardner and Chester Gardner; and her sister Sharon Gardner. She is survived by: her children, Paul Nielsen (Lauren) and Kirsten McElhinney (Matthew); her grandchildren, Elizabeth McElhinney and Tate Nielsen; her husband Eric Nielsen; her siblings, Barbara Scanlon (John) and Charles Gardner; and her sister-in-law Kitty Nielsen (Larry). She is also survived by her family and grandbabies.
