He was predeceased by: his daughters, Esperanza Alfaro and Maria Magdalena (Luis). He is survived by: his wife Esperanza Carrillo; and his children, Veronica Leon (Martin), Jose Alfaro (Rosaura) and Pablo Alfaro (SanJuana). He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
